Jacob smiled as the family returned home through the floo portal and he stretched. The medium sized farmhouse in one of the more wooded parts of Mendham,NY seemed quaint now compared to the hustle and bustle of salem's alley. He couldn't wait to receive his letter next year but for now he broke out of his reverie and smiled at his dad "hey can i cook this time" he asked. The family rotated chores including cooking but thanks to his 'lovely' sisters he was the one tricked into cooking most of the time but still he didn't complain it was like the muggle book's said the surest way to a woman is through her stomach granted he was taking full advantage of the magical cookware and cookbooks, But surely the family wouldn't mind if he tested out one of his new recepies on them. Luke looked at his son and smiled "of course Jacob just hope you make one of your better dishes" Jacob playfully punches his fathers arm "am i never going to live the 'battle of the blaze' with you old man it was one time" Jacob chuckled and thats when his mother chimed in "oh please you almost burnt half the house down I'd sure wring it out of you." Jacob rolled his eyes "yes but you're the sadist mom I'd expect it of you him of the other hand."
