That Morning

Feeling like you had the greatest wet dream of your life you yawn and open your eyes. Seeing Aimee looking down at you, her head resting on her palm, you remember that its not a dream.

“Good morning Aimee,” You greet her.

“Good morning yourself,” She says, giving you a smile.

“I had this dream about making love to this wild French woman, would you know anything about it.” You ask.

With a laugh, Aimee gets up off the bed and reaches down retrieving the sheet she was using as a Toga.

“No dream, reality.” She says, as she starts to wrap herself in it.

“You look much better without that on.” You say, with a murmur of disapproval.

“Men. You are all alike.” She says with disapproval, but sporting a smile.

With a sigh you get up and go over to the shelving where you set your clothes to dry. You find them slightly damp around the edges but elect to put them on. Slipping into your clothes you look off to the front of the store, and though there is light you still here the sound of rain.

“Lets go find Gwen and Lea.” You suggest.

Aimee nods and the two of you go over to where the fight was. Upon arrival you find Lea sitting on a chair cleaning her knives, and Gwen asleep in one of the beds.

“Morning Lea,” You say in greeting.

“Get enough Sleep?” Lea says with a smile.

“What do you mean by that?” Aimee asks.

“Well, you two weren’t exactly quiet.” Lea finishes, actually blushing a little.

“From the looks of things it hasn’t let up out there, and we need to get Aimee something to wear other than a Toga.” You say, wanting to change the conversation.

Both Aimee and Lea give you a smile and apparently decide to let you off the hook.

“Well Bed, Bath, and Beyond doesn’t sell any clothing except maybe bathrobes, but now that I’m thinking about it if we check the managers office it probably has a phone book and we could look up to see where the nearest clothing store or Wal-mart is.” Lea suggests.

“Good Idea Lea I’ll go look” You say, turning.

“I’ll go with you Alex, we should always travel in pairs its safer that way.” Lea Says.

“Sounds reasonable.” You agree.

Taking out your gun, you hand it to Aimee.” We’ll be right back.” You tell her.

“We’ll be here” Aimee says, and you and Lea head for the managers office.
