Thank him for handling a tough situation professionally

You would like to tell him to stuff his non-compete up his ass but you really need the money. You just finished paying off Amber's student loans and you're almost broke. Living in the bay area and, frankly, keeping up with Amber's demands never seems to leave anything from your paycheck.

So, it's suck-up time.

"I appreciate that this is as difficult a situation for you as it is for me," you say. "So, thank you for handling it professionally."

He smirks. God, he seems to love a suckup.

"Here are the forms. Go ahead and sign now and I'll have Barbara pass them on to H.R. for final approval."

You take the agreement and start to read it.

"It's standard," Worthshill says.

"I like to read what I sign."

"Fine. Read out in the secretary area." He looks toward the door. "Barbara. Where the hell is my coffee."

"Here, sir." Barbara appears with his coffee, along with a couple of cookies. "Will there be anything else, sir?"

"Yeah, call security. Once this employee has signed that form, have them escort him out."

"Of course, sir. Mr. Strong, will you come with me?"
