Terminology Overview

Terms to Know:

M2F - Male to female transformations. The most common type of transformation story.

F2M - Female to male transformations.

F2F - Female to female transformations. This is not a commonly used term, but is prominent none the less.

M2M - Male to male transformations. This term is not commonly used.

Gender Change - When a person switches to the opposite gender.

Turn into Object - When a person is transformed into an inanimate object such as an item of clothing, sex toy, or statue.
