Tell him you need to go to the restroom

Abruptly you stand up and quickly pull your overcoat on to cover your wet pants. Without waiting for a response you take off towards the restroom, calling back to Waylon over your shoulder.

"Sorry, I really need to get to the bathroom... I'll be right back."

You walk past a group of people standing by the ladies room, but as you reach out your arm to push open the door one of the women stops you.

"Sorry, there's a line here for the bathroom."

"Oh, I'm really sorry," you apologize.

A solid dozen people are standing in the line outside the restroom. As the bar nears closing time a lot of people must be visiting the restroom before leaving.
