Tell Jess that Pete is cheating on her.

"...forget it. I have better things to do than pick up the slack for that cheating..." As soon as I dropped that last word into the conversation I stopped myself as if I had unintentionally revealed a secret I wasn't supposed to share with her. "Just forget it."

"What do you mean cheating? Pete works just as hard as we do. He would never cheat on something he might need to know one day in the operating room!" With that outburst, she started packing her things to leave, furious at my innuendo. It seems my style is too vague to even get her to understand me. I need to get my point across before she walks out.

"You're right, Jess. Please just calm down and sit for a second. Let me apologize?" Luckily, our friendship is long-standing enough for her to hear me out. She sits down, but continues to glare at me. "I think I'm more exhausted than I let on. I just get a little frustrated that Pete seems to get all this material without struggling. I mean he has a job, you, uh...friends. So he doesn't have the time that we do to study. I really...I never should have said anything. Forgive me?"

Jess looked down at her satchel, thinking over my apology. Then she looked back up into my eyes. "Sure, just don't say anything like that again without proof. We're going to get married and I don't want anyone in our lives who is going to make us suspicious of each other. Now, it really is getting late. I needed to use the restroom before I go home." With that she walked off, leaving her things on the table to collect when she finished.

I hadn't said anything because I was still trying to get my head around what I'd just heard. They were getting married? Had Pete proposed without mentioning it to me? Or was Jess just talking about what she thought their future would hold? Either way, their relationship was more serious than I'd hoped. I needed to fuck her now before I lost my chance again.

While these thoughts churned in my head, I looked at her things. Was there something I could use to fool her into sleeping with me? Maybe something that could give her "proof" of Pete's lack of morals?
