Marie didn't mind standing out, but only within the bounds of what she considered fashionable. Looking tacky wasn't an option. Shortly after sitting down, Marie reached one gloved hand under her skirt, and when she was sure no one was looking, she extended her leg, kicked off the booted footwear accommodating it, and drew the stocking down and off of her newly bared leg.

Once her shoe was back on, she sat back up, fighting back an instinctive shiver as she stared down, realizing how laughably short her skirt was. Without stockings, it was made patently obvious. And with one wrong move, she'd flash her underwear to anyone who cared to look.

Well, she had no intention of getting back up. Marie picked back up her notebook, continued her writing, and began a new poem from scratch.

Marie froze in midst of the third verse, the pencil's sharpened point nearly snapping off as she felt a shiver go through her.

Raising her gaze from her work, she realized that a passing breeze had taken to fluttering her skirt about. In short, her panties had been on display every other second or so. She quickly dropped the notebook and shoved both hands against the plaid material, her face burning red as she looked around. No one seemed to have seen them. Good.

Okay, so she couldn't stay outside. Marie got to her feet, holding her skirt with one hand and picking up her notebook with the other. If she couldn't work on her poetry outside, then she would simply have to-
