Team Up With DuBois?

Venus waited for the crowd to eventually disperse, making her way over to the wagon where Katherine was beginning to gather up her things. She seemed rather well supplied for an independent adventurer. Perhaps it would be in their best interest to work together on this, Venus wondered. Approaching, she cleared her throat to get the other woman's attention, "Excuse me?"

Katherine turned to look upon her, a warm smile forming on her lips, "Ah, a lovely daughter of Altima? Do not be afraid, I will see to the vampire and his servants before long. You can sleep easy tonight, I promise."

The Shadow Hunter's cheeks burned at the compliment, but she was quick to shake her head, "No, it isn't that. I want to go with you, to help you clear the tomb."

The pale, dark haired, woman offered Venus another friendly smile, "I appreciate the offer, but I think you would just be a liability. Best to stay home."

Venus moved closer, "My name is Venus and I am a Shadow Hunter, Katherine. I have experience in fighting monsters, I can be of use to you down there."

DuBois was legitimately surprised by that revelation, but she quickly recovered, "Oh, I think you could be of use to me in many places, but yes, maybe you're right. Once we get there just stick close and follow me lead, alright?"
