... Team Avatar made a plan.

After telling Sokka, Momo, and Aang what had happened, Katara decided that she would set up a plan to rescue Haru, with or without the help of her friends. While both of the guys were skeptical about what she had in mind, they decided that it would be their best shot to do good. Sokka tried to remind his companions that they needed to be heading to the Northpole but as the Avatar, Aang couldn't just turn a blind eye to the injustice done around these parts of the Earth Kingdom. He needed to help out Haru and the other earthbenders stuck in that prison, but for that, they needed to find where it was. It wasn't anywhere in the area, that much was for sure.

Their only option was for someone to get captured, and Katara was convinced that it needed to be her. Knowing they couldn't argue with her, the boys agreed...

They set up a plan immediately. While the siblings acted out an argument between the two of them right when a patrol of Fire Nation soldiers were marching past, Aang used his airbending to lift up a rock. Making it seem like it was Katara who was earthbending. Of course, the soldiers didn't ask questions. Their orders were clear, arrest anyone who could be capable of eartbending, and the busty cute girl dressed in Water Tribe attire seemed like one of them!

"Hey! You there!" The general called out, and Katara pretended like she tried to run to make it seem real. The soldiers immediately closed in around her, capturing her and bringing her over to the harbor. There, she was loaded onto a ship and sailed off onto open water.

Of course, the prison was in the middle of the ocean. That had been why Team Avatar couldn't find them! While Katara was told to change into some beige clothes - which were definitely a size too small, almost making her luscious tits pop out of the top and barely covering up her phat juicy ass - the others were following closely on Appa. Staying high enough so they wouldn't get spotted but all three of them were on edge as they kept a close eye on the ship. They would never forgive themselves if anything happened to Katara, and even Momo didn't make any advances to the guys as she could feel the tension.

They had been traveling for a couple of hours when the ship docked at a large prison. Katara immediately noticed what the big deal was for earthbenders. It was completely made out of metal, leaving them unable to use their bending and so completely at the mercy of the Fire Nation. It would be harder than expected to break them out of jail, but the young Waterbender was convinced that she would manage to pull it off. She could be very inventive, and even more convincing.

Together with some other prisoners, Katara was brought into the prison where they met a man. He introduced himself as the warden of the prison. A typical Fire Nation official who seemed to have a dirty smirk at the end of every sentence, especially when his eyes fell on Katara. "There aren't a lot of female prisoners in here, young girl. I'm sure all of you will get along, and as long as you abide to our rules, your stay should be... enjoyable." He grinned, but then his attention was pulled away by one of the other prisoners sneezing. So damn fast, the warden launched a cloud of fire into his direction and started shouting at him angrily, almost throwing him right into the water before telling him that his 'first and last warning has been used'.

After the rather unpleasant meeting with the warden, they were brought deeper into the prison and onto some kind of courtyard. Still, everything was completely made of metal and a bunch of prisoners were sitting around, eating some kind of dirty-looking soup. A lot of heads turned when Katara walked further over the courtyard, and she could tell that the warden was right. There only seemed to be a handful of women around the place, and none of them looked as good as herself.

"Katara?!" A familiar voice could be heard from the side, and she rushed over to hug Haru. She did manage to find him after all!

"What are you doing here?" The young boy asked, confused. He had been captured, he thought that was the end of it. Katara shouldn't have followed him. She wasn't even an earthbender!

"I came to rescue you, Haru. I've... I've made you help that man, and Aang didn't want to leave you either! We just need to find a way to fight back.." She started rambling, but she was interrupted by a deeper voice. A large man had stepped up next to Haru. A long grey beard fell down to almost his belly, he was clearly older but still very much in shape. She could see his muscles bulging through his clothes, and she raised an eyebrow at his sudden presence. "There's no way to escape this place, missy. We're helpless against the guards without our bending. All we can do is survive and wait out the war..." He said, letting his head fall down. Katara wondered how long some of the men had been in the prison already. It had been a couple of years since the Fire Nation started using the coal mines, so some had probably been imprisoned for a very long time...

"Katara, this is my father. Excuse him, but he's probably right. The guards are ruthless, and will punish everyone for the missteps of just a few if they have to." Haru spoke up, and Katara shook her head. "That can't be the end of it! We need to stand up against them, together. You know the Avatar is coming to help as well..." She tried, but it didn't seem to work. Haru's father - Tyro - just pushed a bowl of that horrible soup into her hands and walked off...
