Chapter 11 by Gragenor Gragenor

Where is Jules headed?

Tavern

"Really? The Tavern? I didn't think you liked it." Vera asked, slowing a bit to get a quick glance at his butt.

"I don't like the people there. The drinks are good. And the usual crowd of assholes don't go in until later." He laughed. "You really must be tired. You're walking awfully slow." He teased, blissfully unaware.

Vera laughed. "Yeah, I am. Don't worry, I'm getting my second wind." And she hurried up to avoid suspicion. She didn't know what caused this, and right now, she didn't care. She just wanted to see his, and everyone else's, reaction to it.

Meanwhile, the trio of fairies just watched from a distance. They could keep going and get him out of his shirt, but this seemed funny enough for now. Maybe later...

The duo of farmhands were getting awfully close. Vera could taste the embarrassment already.

There was a nearby market stall, this would be a perfect place to get an initial reaction.

They approached and the woman running the stall gave a gasp at the unexpected sight she was gifted. "Why is your-?" She started before noticing that Vera was giving the 'be quiet' signal. She was a friend of Vera's and went along with it

"Why is what?" Jules asked, starting to get suspicious.

"Not you. Vera. Why is your delivery taking so long?" The woman, Amber, lied. She was also struggling to maintain eye contact, but the stall counter blocked her view a bit anyways.

"Just been tired all day. I'll be fine. It will get done." Vera continued the lie.

Some other people walked by the stall, blatantly staring at the farmhand's exposed butt.

A new woman approached the stall and couldn't take her eyes off of Jules. She gave a soft whistle which caused him to turn around to look at her. She practically fainted from what she was seeing.

"What are you looking at?" Jules asked. But before he could look down, the fairies began to work their magic again. He didn't feel the need to investigate, and the woman didn't feel the need to comment.

"Oh, nothing. Just all of these many deals on leather..." She lied, scooting passed him to the stall counter.

Does anything else happen on the way to the tavern?
