Jess and Tara turned their cards as soon as all three were dealt, revealing that Jess held the nine of spades and Tara the five of spades. Confident that she could beat the five, Rach turned her card to see the king of clubs. She smiled, chalking up a victory over the other two. For now, she was the only one still fully clothed and the least likely to ultimately lose.
