Chapter 5

Who Wins the First Grapple?
Tara
Marlene charged across the mats as Tara expected, laughing all the way. In an instant, Marlene attempted to smother her. She attempted to jump onto her back, only for Tara to spin away.
Still Marlene chased after her with no real plan in mind. Tara stuck a foot out and Marlene stumbled.
Tara knew nothing about wrestling, but she did have a brother. After years spent battling her brother, she knew some of the tricks.
She got behind Marlene and threw her hands up under her arms, securing her in a full nelson.
Marlene groaned as she suddenly found herself immobilised by Tara.
“Let me go.” Marlene tried to tug herself away. “Let me go. Let me go. Let me go.”
“You can still back out.” Tara kept her in check, even as the shorter girl. “We can still go to school right now.”
“No, I’m going to beat you.”
Tara knew she couldn’t begin working on Marlene’s clothes from a full nelson. She had to get her down to the ground.
Tara wrenched her back and began to fall. On the ground, a grapple could go either way, but she was confident she could keep Marlene’s long limbs in check.
The two girls fell on their sides. Tara released her hold and fought to get on top of Marlene before she could react. She managed to throw one of her legs over Marlene, but her flailing arms were still a problem.
Clearly, it wasn’t going to be that easy.
Can Tara Go for Marlene’s Clothes?
