Talk with dad

Of course Jack doesn't care how you look. When your dad sees you, he immediately asks:

"Emily, something happened?"

You are tempted to tell him what happened, but now you are really afraid of Jack, he's unhinged, who knows what he will do.

"Nothing dad, I just watched a short movie about kid who's dying on cancer."

"Oh" he says "but I wanted to talk to you about something that'll surely lift your spirit. Me and mom are really proud of you. So we decided to make a present for you after graduation. What would you say on a car?"

"A car?" for a moment you forget about what just happened to you "which one exactly?"

"Whichever you choose" your father smiles "but not very expensive of course."

"Oh, dad" you hug him and when you feel his strong hands around you, you feel really safe. It's risky, but maybe you can tell him what happened?
