Chapter 4 by Suckersoprano Suckersoprano

What should he do?

Talk to the man on the bench.

Dago thought he saw an opportunity when he saw it. He carefully crossed the street and casually sat down on the bench next to the glum looking man. The mask he was wearing was a moon mask; it had a crescent shape and was painted with blue, silver, and gold. He stared at Dago obviously when he sat down on the bench. Dago didn’t say anything for a long time, but the man continued to steal glances at him.

“You look really upset, even through the mask,” commented Dago with some amusement.

The man looked back up at him with a bit of a curious expression, like he’d forgotten he was wearing a mask. The man realized all of a sudden and pulled the moon mask off of his face. Underneath was a frowning, dark haired beauty of a man. His features were a bit unnervingly pretty and his hair was longer than a lot of women Dago knew. He had very, very dark eyes and was just generally… beautiful. It was kind of weird to describe a man that way, but he was.

“Is it that obvious?” the man sighed, “I apologize, I didn’t mean to project.”

“Don’t apologize, shit. I want to make your day a bit better, that’s all,” Dago said, “I’m Dago.”

He stuck out his hand for the man to shake and he tentatively took it in his elegant hands and shook.

“My name is Ink Dragen,” the man said, “Pleasure.”

“What’s got you down, Ink?” Dago said, not commenting on the man’s strange name.

Ink looked really upset again, “You would laugh if you knew.”

“Try me,” Dago said with a challenging grin.

“My girlfriend and I broke up,” he said with a frown, “She went to be a nun again.”

Dago bit his tongue to prevent himself from laughing, “Maybe you’re better off not dating nuns, then.”

“Maybe you’re right,” Ink said sadly, “She was really uncomfortable with touching or even hugging, even after four years.”

Ink gave an exasperated sigh and ran his hand over his face. Dago was in a state of mild shock. He had a hard time staying faithful to one person for three years, and he even agreed to sleep with him, he couldn’t imagine being faithful to someone for four without getting any.

“Well, we’re going to change the fact that you haven’t had any action,” Dago said, determined to do so for himself, too.

How do they accomplish that?
