"So how do you like the campus so far?" you ask. 'What a stupid question,' you think to yourself.

Mika shifts uncomfortably and glances down when she answers you. "It's nice," she says.

"That's good," you say. You decide to ignore her shyness and press on. "So do you have any friends yet or anything? Anyone that came her with you?"

"No," she replies quickly. "Umm...I need to use the restroom," she says suddenly, and stands up. She takes her things and walks off.

'That didn't go well,' you think to yourself.
