Cathy told Arthur of her swimming competition and showed him a picture of her holding her silver medal, for the second place. He seemed to be honestly proud about her and that made her smile, albeit she felt bad for even wondering if his being proud was real or not.

He then told her of his days in amusement parks out west, and mentioned that he spent a day in one with Jackie. He hadn't mentioned that before. She thought about mentioning, but she knew it would make her look paranoid and jealous. She was aware there was no need to be worried, he would never cheat on her, not after Kate, her ex cheated on him. However, she wondered if he was thinking about leaving her...maybe for Jackie, his classmate. But that was a silly thought, wasn't it?
