Take your chances and stab the wolf with your dagger!

You lunge forward and stab your rusted dagger into the back of the wolf, it cries out in pain and falls to its side, you managed to hit it in the spine somewhere, its paralyzed. You quickly try to pull the dagger out of the wolf as Nacius tries to stand himself up, the dagger snaps.

"Damnit!" You yell as you throw the hilt away.

You turn over to Nacius and help him up, the two of you grunt in pain as you pull but you eventually get him back up. Then suddenly you feel a sharp pain in your calf, the other two wolves had gotten to you, one of them bit you.

"Aah! Nacius!" You desperately call out as you are dragged onto the floor.

"Sanna!" Nacius cries out as he lunges towards the wolf, managing to slice its side.

The wolf bites down harder and begins to shake its head, trying to tear away at your calf. You wail out in pain, the wolf attacking your leg combined with your shoulder is too much to handle, you kick at the wolf with your other leg and don't even notice Nacius being jumped on by the other wolf.

"Damn it no!" He cries out, trying to wrestle the wolf off of him.

The wolf scratches into his back, tearing through his shirt and bandaging, leaving massive cuts down his back, he desperately swings the torch around him, managing to hit the wolf in the face with it, getting it to fall off of him in panic. You were still kicking at the wolf attacking your leg, the pain was making it impossible to focus on anything else around you, the only thing you could register was sheer pain and panic.

"Get off of her!" Nacius screams before thrusting his sword into the side of the wolf attacking your feet, causing it to let go and fall to its side, trying to scamper off.

You still aren't registering anything going on around you, you quickly huddle up and grab your wounded calf, careful not to further injure it as well as your shoulder.

"Sanna we have to move!" Nacius screams.

You aren't registering what he's saying, you just continue grabbing your bleeding calf. Nacius falls down as the wolf from earlier comes back and pounces on him once again, his sword slipping out of his hand and landing out of reach.

"S-anna! Help me!" He cries out, trying to get your attention.

You look away from your calf for a moment and see Nacius trying to push the wolf off of him, almost instantly you come back to your senses and try getting on your feet. You collapse back to the ground, the pain in your calf making it impossible to stand up.

"S-Sanna can't..." You cant finish your sentence, you feel your limbs start go go weak and your eyelids go heavy.

"Sanna!" Nacius screams.

You touch the hilt of the sword with your fingers, slowly you try dragging it towards you. Nacius tries punching the wolf, causing it to whimper a bit, but it keeps on him. You get the sword close enough to were you can grab it, you grab it and slowly inch your way closer to Nacius, trying your hardest to ignore the white hot pain coursing through your entire being.

"Get off!" Nacius screams at the wolf.

The wolf had began scratching at his upper chest and parts of his face, causing Nacius to scream out in pain. Nacius looked at his hand and casted a small fireball that managed to scare the wolf off of him for a moment, Nacius tried getting up as fast as he could, but before he could even notice it, the wolf was back on top of him, this time scratching at his back some more.

"Sanna is... Sanna is coming..." You try to yell, still slowly inching close and closer.

You're within reach of the wolf now, you muster all of your strength and swing the sword at its head, slicing it's eye and causing it to back away. This was all you could muster before you collapsed, you feel the sword slip out of your hand and a loud scream followed by the pained whimper of the wolf. Then it was almost complete silence, the only thing you could hear was your own heartbeat and the labored breathing coming from Nacius...

But soon you began to hear something else, it sounded like distant thunder, you tried looking up to see what it was but you couldn't bear to move your head up, you then hear Nacius collapse to the ground and begin coughing and wheezing.

"I'm...i'm sorry." You hear him whisper

You once again try to raise your head to at least see Nacius, you manage to look up enough to see Nacius laying on his back, both hands tightly hugged against his chest, the torch was lying on the ground, still lit but quickly going out. As your vision begins to fade, the thunder noise begins to get louder, and you see a light coming from up the road. You begin to hear what you think is yelling, though you can't make out what these voices are trying to say, they continue to get closer, the noise gets louder and louder. Then you made out what one of them said.

"Down there! They're down there!" You hear.

You try one last time to push yourself up, but the moment you begin straining yourself, you pass out.
