Take out your sister and skip the party

You take your sister out to do her trick-o-treating; with the darkness helping you keep a low profile you stay out for a few hours after which you head home. Your mom seems pleased with the hoard of candy your sister has brought home and allows you to go to the party. Not wanting to go dressed as you are but not wanting your mom to get mad at you for wasting good money on a costume you're not going to wear, you head out of the door intending to double back when your mom and sister head out to the movies. The best hiding spot you can think of is across the street in Mr Jackson's front yard, you know the old black man never gets any trick-o-treaters as he locks his front gate and doesn't answer the door. You climb over his fence and hide yourself behind one of his shrub's, but unable to see your front door you move position to his porch. After crouching down and watching your door for ten minutes you're grabbed from behind and pulled to your feet.

"What the hell are you doing on my porch?" Mr Jackson's angry voice snarls in your face.

"Mr Jackson, I'm sorry I was just hiding." You reply to his question.

"How do you know my name I don't know you?"

"I'm Steven, I live across the street." You say pointing at your house.
