Springing into action just as she saw the crook in front train his gun on Montoya. Hurtling through the air with athletic grace, Selina impacted the ringleader, knocking him to the ground.

Perched astride him, Selina had just enough time to notice how ruggedly handsome he was, before her claws came out, and a quick flurry of her fingers ruined that for him.

Just like she'd learned, Selina freely flowed to her next opponent, readying a bola and letting it fly, knocking his gun from his hand just before he took his shot.

Disarmed, she followed up on him, raining a volley of blows to his midsection. She wasn't that strong, but her speed certainly made up for it.

The third guy, she stunned with a flick of her whip, before flipping over him, flipping him full on into the body of the SUV.

"You're dead, bitch!" the last man standing cried, levelling his rifle at Selina.

A shot rang out, and the balaclaved criminal slumped lifelessly onto the blacktop.

Selina looked over at Montoya, who was lowering her smoking pistol. Quickly regaining her composure, Selina gave her savior a nod.

"Why the assist?" Montoya asked, once the surviving crooks had been cuffed and backup radioed.

"What, a civilian can't see her police **** in trouble and decide to lend a hand?"

"If it has anything to do with the stash of heroin and cash in the truck, that's bound for lockup, not your bank account." Montoya warned. Selina decided not to mention they likely couldn't stop her if she really wanted it. Why sabotage the points she'd scored tonight.

"Don't I even get a kiss?" Selina pouted. Montoya smirked.

"Sorry, Kyle. I like the ladies, yeah. But I prefer the ones that don't got rap sheets that go down to their chocha."

"You wound me, Detective." Selina smiled.

"Not if you stay out of our way, I don't." she responded, stepping back into the van and slamming the door behind her.

"What the hell was that?" Holly said, bemused.

"Let's call it my good deed for the decade." Selina shrugged.

As the cops left her, the thief resumed looking for a bike to jack.
