Just as Mrs. Bigelow, the lunch lady, was about to shovel -- something -- onto her tray, Renee felt something strange. She looked down. What was it? Sort of a shifting. Her butt felt less constrained.

She frowned. Did her skirt suddenly seem just a tiny bit looser? No, she thought. She had to be imagining things.

But things felt, somehow, different under her skirt. She thought she could feel her tights rubbing against her in a way they hadn't until a few seconds ago.

The boys snickered at her slight confusion.

"Dude, I think I saw her skirt shift. It worked."
