Grabbing more glasses from the kitchen, Aaron pulled out the individual souls of the peach, the potato, Natalie, Sasha and himself, the order being weakest the brightest. It was somewhat alarming just how much Natalie's soul had weakened in just over half a day, with the potato soul being about half as bright and almost as lively. Looking closer, Aaron judged that the potato soul had actually grown more than Natalie's had withered.

That made a kind of sense - the potato had figured in his first experiments and had hopped from body to body for longer than Natalie had been trapped. Still, things were progressing quickly, and he wanted to see just how much it had learned.

Meanwhile, there were the souls of Natalie and Sasha to deal with. He currently had three bodies available to him - his girlfriend's, his sister's and he could unpack his skin and re-inflate it when he wanted to.
