Take Lilah's advice.

"You're right," you say, turning to the transmitter panel. You flip a switch, activating the "all channels" mode, and speak into the microphone. "This is Commander John Doe, of the United Earth Fleet, transmitting on all channels for the Pong Expedition. Does anybody read me?"

You try several times, but the only response is static.

"Very well, Commander," Lilah says, her olive green lips pursing in annoyance. "It appears we have but to survey the planet from the ground."

Suddenly, another voice comes over the radio. "Attention Earth ship! This planet is forbidden to outsiders! Leave at once!" You look at Lilah, and she glances back, one fetching eyebrow raised in interest. This planet is supposed to be uninhabited. Where is the transmission coming from?
