Take Her

As he looked at her he noticed she was going to burn and in the most private of places so scooping her up, Mike carried her into her bedroom and placed her on the bed.

"Oh Mike" she said her hand on his face as he started to rise up, "thank you."

Leaning back down Mike kissed her forehead, then looking in her eyes Mike said, "No need for thanks I knew what you needed and provided it. Now I have to go and take care of Peter before things spin out of control for him too."

As she drifted off she thought "Take care of Peter, how is he going to do that?"
