Tainted fruit

While you wouldn't normally just gorge yourself on strange produce, after everything else that's happened today, you deserved a treat. And besides, you might never again find fruits so large and juicy. At any rate, you've definitely eaten your fill, as evidenced by the sticky juices coating your bare skin. Since Greenhouse B seems to be locked down, you have little to worry about anyway. Or so it would seem.

A loud and angry growl shatters the silence, rumbling somewhere near by.

Quickly, your eyes dart about for any sign of what made the horrible noise, but still you seem to be alone. That can't be right, there's got to be something else going on here. Calling out isn't even an option, that growl didn't even sound human, and you're not giving away your position.

Without warning, it happens again, but this time you realize just what's causing it.

It's your stomach!

You actually laugh at the circumstance, you were all worked up expecting some alien nightmare, when it was only the gurgling of your innards. But a sudden discomfort ends your laughter abruptly, something's happening inside of you. With a soft thud, you fall to your knees upon the soft soil, instinctively cradling your full belly. You groan out in pain, what could have done this to you?

Then it starts to come together. What you thought was the station's food supply was actually just more of Dr. Stewart's experiments. Abnormally large plants spliced with bacteria from planet #90-beta. Bacteria that's now inside of you. Your eyes widen in horror at the mere thought, to the extent of your knowledge, not even the doctor had reached human testing yet. With another groan, you fall on your back, with absolutely no way of knowing what effect these microscopic invaders will have upon your body.
