Tainted - crawling through tunnels

At first you don't think the world loaded properly, then you realize the scene actually has no light. Switching to "first person" you see through your characters eyes a cramped space illuminated in strange colors. Hm...you're not fond of the claustrophobic feelings that rise within you and you quickly switch out, messing with the brightness till you can see clearly.

The Lizardman slithers along through cramped spaces he really shouldn't be able to fit through, muscles rippling under a scaly hide. Every so often he comes across a narrow spot and has to gouge away at the wall with his claws till he can fit through. It's impressive. His skin is a mottled orange-red and his eyes are a bright blue. Thin, inch-long teeth line his maw and a long slitted tongue tastes the air every few seconds.

Searching through the lizards thoughts and memories doesn't reveal much about why you are here, under who knows how much rock. A faint light at the end of the tunnel sparks your interest and you wait patiently for your character to reach it...

(Perspective Change)

You forget why you are crawling through darkness but instinct pushes you onwards, a strange metaphor for you life (Dude, this is not the time to contemplate your existence. Go towards the light!) but you mustn't dwell on it now. As the light grows nearer your eyes adjust and you see a well-lit room through the hole.

As you peer out you realize it is only well lit by your standards: a single torch held by a young woman is all that illuminates the space. She is muttering to herself about being stuck in a dark catacomb with one torch, "-I'll have to start burning my clothes soon..."

You feel a twinge of excitement at the prospect, a string of very un-reptilian thoughts streaming through your mind (Wow, that was surprisingly graphic. Didn't know you had it in you big guy!) and your tail swishes back and forth in anticipation. You slither out of your hole to follow the lovely woman, keeping your distance to remain hidden.
