There was a long silence, then a heavy sigh.

"Stephanie...you are adopted. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you, Eddie!"

"Why didn't you?"

"I don't know. I just wanted you to care about Stephanie like a real sister. You were always such a loner, and you needed someone to be around and to care about. In a way, you could say I adopted her to be your friend more than your sister." I almost jumped and cheered. Eddie even smirked, looking like the world was just taken off his shoulders. "Do you hate me?" 'mom' asked.

"Not at all," he answered with a slight smile.

After that, I didn't really need to talk to her anymore, so after some small talk, I hung up. As soon as I pushed the 'end' button, I felt hands on my boobs.

"Eddie! What're you doing?"

"I just found out the prettiest girl I know is fair game. I'm making up for lost time."
