Anna came back to herself moments later. When she did, she no longer felt compelled to wear the showgirl costume. She felt an incredible weight life from her shoulders. In her excitement, she shed the humiliating get up along with the sky high heels and darted into Nate’s room to snag some of his clothes. He was beginning to stir himself. Anna settled on a pair of Nate’s gray sweatpants and a blue shirt of his. She returned to Nate feeling a sense of freedom in her comfier attire and was shocked at what she saw.
Nate was wearing the showgirl costume that she had just taken off along with the high heels. He looked incredibly embarrassed and Anna began laughing maniacally at him. “Does this mean what I hope it means?” she thought to herself and then wished that Nate would be barefoot. Nate suddenly took off the high heels looking somewhat relieved. “Don’t get used to that, Nate. You’re going to be prancing around in high heels for a long time coming. Trust me.”
Anna suddenly wished that he was wearing the heels again and Nate again put them back on looking scared at the turn of events.
