THE HELL-SQUIDS: Mankind's Mortal Enemy since 1898

In this reality, the Hell-Squids are the name we gave to the Martians who invaded Earth and launched a full scale assault on Great Britain which lasted from 1898-1900 in what has become known as THE WAR OF THE WORLDS or Anglo-Martian War. They were given that name due in large part to their cephalopod appearance and demonic black eyes!

Overall the War in this universe went down the same way it did in the book, except in this continuity, not all the Martians died as few retreated back to the Red Planet upon realizing what our microbes were doing to them. That didn't deter them however as they've been slowly rebuilding their forces in order to launch War of the World's II, except this time, they'll be better prepared!
