Sweet Candy

Hiram returns to the table,drops a tenner on the table for his and Candy's coffee. "Come on Candy we're leaving!" turning to me "I've told you all i know AgentDoe,rest assure if i see Murray.i'll have him call you!" Candy slips her arm in through his as the leave,looking back to me as they walk out the door.

Waiting until i see that they have climb inside the car i take the slip of paper Candy slipped me out. "Call me 555-5669!" well she did say if Hiram didn't help me she would. Picking up my coffee I drain it in three gulps before leaving.

Taking out my phone i call into Dr August to see how Atlita is making out.The receptionists tell me that she is still in surgery,with no complications so far.Giving her my cell number and instructions to have Dr. August call when done.Hanging up i check my watch it's been ten minutes since Hiram and Candy left

Dialing the number she gave me I get a mail box for Candida Royale,left a message for her to call me at my number.Hanging up my phone vibrates in my hand,checking the screen i see it Candida returning my call. "Hey cutie meet me at Johnny's Southside Beach Bar after nine tonite and you'll get everything!" then the dial tone before i can reply.

Seems i got a few hours to kill off so i decide to go back to the hotel and catch some zzz's. A little after 4 pm Dr August calls telling me that Atlita came through the surgery fine and that in his opinion she'll have a full recovery with normal looking breasts.Hanging up i drift off back to sleep waking a bit after seven thirty. A quick shower and meal sees me ready to go to Johnny's a little after eight thirty.

Arriving at eight fifty five i take a seat at the bar,ordering a gin martini,turning to survey the place,my drink is just put down i front of me when from the right i see a brown envelope come towards me.Catching it before it spills my drink i see Candy a wide smile on her face.

"Agent Doe,see you made it,as promised here's all the info on Murray,including his current whereabouts!" I"m stunned she seems more intelligent than when with Hiram. "Drink up I want to take you somewhere and give you something!
