Surrounded by kobolds

With a snarl the orc surveyed the situation, growling in frustration as apparently he wasn't alone in being selected for the maze today.

In the middle of the room was the girl he'd been chasing, sprawled out on her back upon the floor, and trying desperately to fend off a group of nasty little kobolds. The creatures were much too cowardly to attack her head on, despite of her small size and the fact she was already cornered, and instead they wasted their time harassing her with darting attacks of their feeble claws that just barely managed to cut slits into her cute little uniform.

The orc pondered for but a moment before storming into the room, with his axe raised high above his head and a blood curling battle cry on his lips, making the girl look up on him in shock and then jump back on her feet. The kobolds meanwhile shrieked in terror and scattered as well, one of them fleeing right past the girl into the hallway while the others dodged to the sides.

The one on his right managed to scurry away, but another wasn't so lucky, and was caught by the edge of his massive axe. A cruel smile crossed his lips as he could hear the girl squealing in horror, and she definitively picked up the pace again at the sight of kobold blood being sprayed across the wall while it's severed head passed her shoulder...
