Surrender, or Ask for Help?

News of the invasion quickly traveled through the land, as scouts of the Blessed Glades have witnessed several attacks upon habitants of lesser populated species such as the Ents and the Nymphs. The army of Orcs, goblins, and other monsters quickly occupied one area after another with the help of the local Naga race, the filthy snake-human hybrid making Helartha's stomach churn every-time she hears about them. As the invasion continued, the officials of Alethlume quickly came to the realization that, even with all it's ****, the village of Alethlume would stand no chance against the evil army. The elders soon realized that their best options were to either surrender to the dark elf mage Sadarth that is behind the invasion, or to send a diplomat to Ellia, the Queen of Forest Elves, for reinforcements.

And of course, who else would be better fitting for such a position then Helartha? She was the best ranger in the Blessed Glades, skilled at tracking, camouflage, melee combat and especially archery while obtaining a deep connection with the heart of the forest. Knowing that the Elvish Queen was about to be married, the elders prepared a beautiful necklace made out of forest gemstones that radiates life energy as a wedding gift, and soon Helartha ready to go on her journey.

But, unbeknownst to others, a few of the elders of the village have already been corrupted by infiltrated spies with greed and lust, as they are preparing to surrender the village over to the dark elvish mage. Slowly, the corruption spread within the elvish town, as Helartha was about to be hit with something she was never prepared for.
