Surprisingly yes

She really wasn't sure if she should, I mean it was a little out of nowhere. She browsed Emily's profile again, seeing a few shots from the restaurant, seeing her covered from different pies and other things but still maintaining a cheery and professional (as much as was possible in her state) look, always with that smile. She just seemed to be enjoying herself wherever she was and more than just in a “smile for the camera” sort of way. She saw evidence that Emily was well experienced in many of the facilities where she worked but suddenly began to feel a little comfortable, and decided to click away before seeing more than she already had as she debated reaching out to her.

For Amelia it was one thing to see a random person naked, topless or engaging in whatever they might want to engage in, but when it came to someone she knew, or in this case someone she was hoping to get to know, it just didn't feel right. At least until the friendship, relationship, naturally reached that kind of stage. Perhaps it would with Emily in time, but until then she decided not to browse further and her finger hovered a while longer over the “send message” button.

What do you say in this kind of situation, a simple “Hi, how are you?” and see if you get a response, do you ramble on and potentially miss the point of your message, did she come out and just ask more about what it was like to get messy? In the end she typed out various versions of all 3 and many in between before she felt okay with her message, trying her best to sound casual and friendly and simply expressing an interest in where she worked and wanting to know more. She logged off and perhaps feeling a little braver than normal texted Zack about their date tonight and with a smile now creeping across her face went off to shower and get herself ready.
