Surprise Party

After a few minute drive, you start to wonder even more about what your friends have plan. That is when you guys finally arrive at a sort off abandon building that almost look broken down. You get out of Martin's car wondering what they did. "Alright let's get this party started." Martin said.

"What do you guys plan to do in here?" you asks. Mike comes behind you and push you towards the building. You notice that Eddy and Marco start going around the building. Once at the door, Mike stop pushing you. You open the door next thing you know you hear. "Happy Birthday John!" Your classmates congratulated you as you walk into the room. You were amazed at all the people that were in here. Martin took out his phone and took a picture of your shock face.

"Oh man dude, you should see yourself right now. It is priceless." Martin laugh. Eddy and Marco are at the stage were a turntable and a laptop is place at.

"How did you guys did this?"

"Let's say, I know the owner of this place." Martin said.

"Plus, Eddy here is a very good DJ, so that was free of charge." Kyle added. You look at your friends.

"Man, you guys are the best friends a guy like me can have."

"Ah man so touching and gay." Martin said and you all laugh. You guys head to the table, when Caroline, Anna, and their friend Jessica stop you to congratulate you.

"Happy Birthday!" Jessica said as she push Caroline out of the way to give you a hug. Jessica was consider one of the few girls in your class that had natural beauty. They were once rumors that you two had something going on, but that was never true. Even though the rumors were false, you would not mind going out with her.

"Thank you." You start to hear Eddy mixing some really good Pop music. Without noticing, Jessica grab you by the hand and start dragging you to the dance floor.

"Come on John, Let's dance."

"Lucky bastard." Martin said.

After a few dances with Jessica, you notice that Anna has not even dance at all. You know that she likes dancing to pop and Latin, and that is what Eddy has been putting on for the majority of the time. You go up to her to ask her to dance. "Hey Anna, want to dance?"

"Are you sure you want to dance with me?" Anna said. "After what happen?"

"I am positive. I would not mine getting hurt again because you if you referring to that." Anna smile and took your hand.

"Alright John, let's dance."

After dancing with Anna, you dance some other girls that you knew. Then you notice Evelyn was at the party. She notice you and starts walking towards you, you remain still. "Happy Birthday John!"

"Thanks Evelyn. I really glad you came."

"I would not miss your party." Evelyn smiled at you. You smile back. "I see you are having a great time."

"I am and you?"

"I am enjoying it to." You start to get butterfly in your stomach and a little bit more nervous.

"Well Evelyn, will you like to dance?" You asked. She makes a shy expression in her face.

"I guess one dance cannot hurt why not." Deep inside you say yes like crazy. She takes your hand and lead you to the dance floor.

Once the music is over, you both laugh. "It was not bad as I imagine."

"You should not judge that easily."

"I may want to dance again later tonight." She winks at you. You just smile as she walks back to her table.

As the party was about to finish, you head out outside and take a break from the party. You remember of all the fun that you had today, especially dancing with Evelyn. Then you hear footsteps coming from behind. It was hard to identify the person because of the dark, but you knew it was a girl. Once the moonlight shine at the girl, you recognize her.
