Chapter 3 by Genericc616 Genericc616

Do you head to the Ranch?

Sure it couldn't be that bad right?

"Alright Matt, just got to keep cool, lay low for the night, and cross a few state lines, and that half mill is all good." Matt says to himself under his breath, as he think to the two bags in the trunk stuffed full on money.

Matt had made a lot of enemies when his latest scheme collapsed, honestly he was a victim of his own success, happily conning people as he went, until a victim offered to get some partners in on it. Matt should of turned the offer down, but he stood to make a killing. He'd make a token payment from his early takings to make it seem like it was real and then disappear with the investment. He should of known it was a bad crowd he was about to scam, the kind that do their talking with their fists, and do their punctuation with lead. He planned to be long gone before they knew, but one of old people he scammed was related to a damn cop. Now he was running as fast as he could from the law, and whoever the bad men he ripped off had likley hired to bring him in.

Matt squinted to try and make out the sign for the ranch as rain started to fall. 'Just find a place to sleep, then worry about disappearing tomorrow, you still have a head start on them.' Matt thought to himself as he finally saw the sign for the ranch and began to drive up the hill, until he finally reached the old farm and the various buildings, some stables, a big old farm house, and some newer looking buildings. Thankfully there was some lights still on in the farmhouse, and Matt made a dash through the rain and into the cover of the poorch, before he started knocking on the door.

The door swung open and a very attractive woman stood before Matt, she was wearing some tight black top with a very nice amount of cleavage, some very nice Jeans and some cowboy boots. Eventually Matt's gaze moved up from the young woman's chest up to her face, where she was looking at him with a smile on her face and Matt recognized her face from that advert in the bar's restroom. No mistaking those blue eyes, or her blonde hair framing her pretty face.

"Good evening, how can I help you?" The woman asks as Matt tries to recall the name on the poster.

"Carla right?" Matt tries as he hopes his memory hadn't let him down.

"That's me." Carla replies as she waits for Matt to continue.

"I saw your advert saying you helped people, and well I was wondering if you could help me out by letting me rent a room for the night?" Matt asks hopefully, praying the man in the bar hadn't been messing with you.

"A room? Is that all?" Carla asks in a suspicious tone, as she cocks an eyebrow.

"Well maybe a shower, and a place to shave if it's possible, I've been sleeping in my car the last few days. I asked in town, and they said there wasn't any motels or anything for miles." Matt says as he rubs his neck and laughs to ease his nerves.

"There's plenty of places in one of the big towns, there only about twenty miles out, why don't you head there." Carla asks with a smile as she looks Matt up and down.

"Ah well, I'm looking for something....ahem discreet." Matt offers weakly hoping this might not raise any further questions.

"You wouldn't be bring any trouble to my farm now would you Mr?" Carla says in a serious tone, yet continuing to smile up at Matt.

"Oh no, nothing serious, just a minor misunderstanding, I'll be out of your hair by tomorrow morning." Matt says quickly as Carla eyes him suspicously.

"Oh, that's a shame I find trouble can be a real turn on, guess it's a bit of a cliche of girls liking bad boys." Carla says in a flirty tone, as Matt seems caught completley off guard by this as Carla steps closer to him, his gaze darting down to the amble cleavage on display for a moment.

"Well I mean, I might have pissed of the wrong people." Matt begins slowly as Carla continues to lean in and look Matt up and down.

"Mmmmmhmmmm." Carla replies as Matt begins to find himself getting warm, as something other than fear and paranoia studs inside of him. "So you sure I can't help you with anything else? I'm very good at helping people disappear." Carla says as she runs a finger slowly up Matt's chest as his breathing gets heavier. The more paranoid part of his mind is telling him to stick to the plan, where another part of him was telling him to stay and take her up on his help, who knows he might just get to take this cowgirl for a ride and sort out his problems too.

Does Matt ask for more help, or stick to his plan

More fun
