I don't know You come up with it

Superhero Animation

Superheroes are common in animation since the 40's and beyond, starting with the first Superman Cartoons. From the Spider-man in the 60's to Superfriends, to the Marvel Animations of Saban and Marvel of the 90's.

The DC Animated universe of Timm and Dini which links with Static Shock which is one of the iconic comic book animation of the last and current decade., even bleeding into the video game Arkham Ayslum.

As well to current hits like Batman:The Brave and the Bold and Wolverine and the X-men. Spectacular Spider-man was made by Sony and now is up in the air with the Disney acquirement was also well made by the hand of Weisman of Gargoyles. Iron Man: Armored Adventures takes Skyland's 3-D animation for a more kid friendly version of the Womanizing Alchoholic.

There is also the direct to DVD films like DC's Final Frontier or Superman/Batman: Public Enemies or Marvel's Ultimate Avengers or Hulk Vs. Series.

Also mentioned are more orginal non-DC or Marvel works like HBO's Spawn mini-series.

The genre is great for the media of animation as it is easy to display all of the superpowers of the different heroes well with animated images, powers which would cost thousands if not millions in special effects.

So which hero animation do you choose?
