Sunlight!

Walking onwards, you definitely notice that the rock beneath you is becoming steeper. Just as your legs begin to tire, you see an archway of bright sunlight.

After so long underground, your eyes hurt slightly at the sight of the tunnel’s mouth. Shielding your face with your hands, you emerge onto a small rock outcropping. Beneath you lies the next destination of your journey: a city nestled into a valley, it’s magnificent, ivy-covered stone buildings built against the sloping rock walls of the two mountains it sits between. Ahead of you, steps seem to be carved into the side of the rock. You begin to descend them, eager to explore the dwarven city below.
