Sunday Announcement

Everyone was in good spirits on the Sunday. It was officially the mid-semester break so a week off classes was something that everyone was looking forward to.

However, as much as everyone just wanted to party and let loose, the East Hall residents were required to meet in the common room on Sunday at 5PM.

Checking his emails, Mark saw one from Tiffany. At first he got excited, thinking maybe it was something just for him. Instead... it was for the entire hall. Sitting at his laptop, he read it in his dorm room.

Email: Hi everyone!

Hope you’re all excited as I am for a week off classes! Should be in for a fun week but before anyone gets too carried away, myself and Paul have organised a little meeting in the common room today at 5PM.

It won’t take up too much of your time, just a couple of important announcements we would like to discuss with you all.

Thanks! See you all there!

Regards, Tiffany (East Hall R.A)

Sighing, Mark shut his laptop, putting it back on his bed. Not that he cared about going to a meeting at all, Mark just found himself being reminded of one of the girls he had fucked over and lost.

He looked over at his dorm roommate, Dirty Dale. The unsociable nerd was playing some sort of game on his laptop, completely unaware of anything else going on around him.

“You see the email Dale?” Mark asked him.

He didn’t respond.

“Dale!” Mark said again, a little louder to get his attention.

“What? I’m busy here...” he replied this time.

Mark got off his bed and stood by him at his desk, “I just asked if you had seen the email from Tiffany.”

“Yep. Saw it. Deleted it. Won’t be going.”

It was the kind of attitude that he should have expected from the basic hermit crab. He barely left the dorm room, making it almost impossible to bring girls back in here without them being weirded out by him.

“Come on, surely you can go, it’ll be like 10 minutes at most dude,” Mark said, sick of how much this guy refused to be social with anyone.

He didn’t respond once again. Mark knew he had heard him and figured he was just ignoring him on purpose. This wasn’t a big deal to Mark but he didn’t like to be ignored so instead of leaving it, he brought up what Dale was so desperately trying to hide from everyone.

“If you don’t go, I’ll tell everyone down there that you’ve been hacking into their phones,” he openly said, watching Dale’s face drop and his head shake.

“Okay! Okay! Fine, I’ll go,” he said, angrily tapping away at his keyboard.

Mark smirked, going back to his bed, “Also I might want to have a look at a couple of people’s phones later tonight so you better help me out with that.”
