Sue gives birth and makes a rash decision

Sue Richards' insides burned with fir. She pushed as Reed and the medical robots stood between her legs. The ordeal had lasted hours. Earlier, Susan had been sitting when her water broke. However, as Reed noted, "water" was not the correct term. It seemed to be a slimy ooze.

The scientist had placed his pregnant wife in the infirmary. For several hours, he tended her. To his dismay, her body refused to give birth.

Reed begged his wife, "PUSH SUE! WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH!"

"AAAAAAGGGGHH!" Sue cried out, using her own powers to seemingly push against her womb. She her a loud "SLOSH" and within moments, she felt a great exodus from her body. Reed in amazement when the eggs began to pour from Sue. It seemed like twenty had poured out within moments into his incubation chamber.

Sue's breathing resided and she looked down. She saw the strange eggs and gasped just as Reed had.

"I should have known," Reed spoke looking at the clear eggs. Inside were small tadpoles. Both could see them swimming in their circular homes. "These are not eggs, more like holding cacoons. Soon these things will be swimming freely." He had to change the tube and fill it with water.

After an hour, Sue felt much better. She looked from above Reed's lab, down into the lab as Reed took readings from the incubation chamber. She watched the things begin to sprout from the thin layer around them, and swim freely. Something inside of her hurt as she watched Reed perform experiments. "He's experimenting with children," Sue chuffed to herself. "MY CHILDREN!" She finally realized the implications. Sue felt hot with anger. She decided it was time to do something.

Later that night Reed awoke to the sound of an alarm. He looked for Sue, but she was nowhere to be found. He rushed down to see the Thing outside his lab. "Looks like someone took the slimy things!" Thing pointed into the room. The incubation chamber was empty.

Another alarm began to sound. The two rushed to the lower floors that housed the holding cells. They reached the only one which had been occupied. The door was smashed off. Amphibius was gone.

Reed sighed, "Inform the Avengers and the X-men."

Thing looked at him, "About what?"

"Tell them to be on high alert. We have to villainous fugitive. Susan Ricahrds and Amphibius loose in the city."
