Subject 69069 - The Azure Orchid

Bella was soon entrusted to care over a special plant supposedly discovered on the surface of Venus. The file of which she refused to read, referred to the plant as Subject 69069 or more simply The Azure Orchid. This strange plant may looked the part of a plant, but upon closure examination had unusual looks to it. The Orchid featured a violet stem and leaves at the base of the flower, while the flower it's self almost seemed to have a translucent gemstone-eqsue appearance. Within the gemlike petals seemed to carry a special aromatic pheromone which according to the file could place analysist in a suggestive trance like state. After finishing several different important files, (as well as withholding certain information from said documents) Bella was allowed to bring the plant home with her for testing.

Bella lived in a small two level house with her college friend May. With struggles getting gigs between modeling jobs, she felt certain that the plant could offer her some quick easy cash. Upon entering the living room Bella plopped the vase adorned with the special flower down on the coffee table. As soon as the hard ceramic pot hit the table, one petal from the flower fell off the plant and landed near the pot it once called home. Worrying something was already wrong with the plant, Bella picked up the blue petal to examine it closer. As soon as she brought the plant up to eye level the small petal burst open, splashing the lightly glowing liquid contents across Bella's face. "Damnit" Bella shouted worrying about the plants affects on her blemish free face. Bella tried to wipe away the strange substance, but soon felt strange affects take place. Her face began to tingle lightly, as thought she had a light itch all across her face, her thoughts soon dissipated from her mind as her struggles to clean her face slowly halted. Both her arms drooped down before her as the irises of her eyes dilated to obstruct her entire eye. Before she even knew what was happening she stood there, in the front of her living room , trapped in a daze of her own creation.

A half hour later May walked in to find her housemate standing dazed in the middle of the living room, with a small trail of drool formed from the corner of her mouth dripping down to her right breast. May stepped in front of her roommate to investigate. "Bella, are you ok?" May asked confused and highly alarmed. "I don't know." Bella soon responded in a monotone voice. "What do you mean you don't know, what happened?" May said frightened by her cocky roommate's lack of explanation. "The plant I was looking over lost a petal. I picked it up to check for diseases and it sprayed some liquid on me." Bella calmly explained. Still shook up from the events playing out before her May asks "What plant?" Bella then points over, drawing May's attention to the plant as well as the file she figured her roommate hadn't read. After 20 minutes of reading May got her answers. The plant had a weird pheromone within it's biology which Area 51 described as a "defensive mechanism". It was stated that there were ways to snap out the trance and even completely revere the pheromones affect. May knew this was a once in a Lifetime chance though. It was high time Bella learned what being a brat all time should get her.
