Stuck in the water

Karen was practically still in the water. Fortunately, no one had noticed his current condition but obviously could not stay there forever. Every now and then there were rafts and people nearby so for safety went underwater. Several times during the day he tried to look (unnecessarily) for his bikini but in the water there was nothing but sand.

She was worried and could not ask anyone for help. The only option would have been to stay in the water until everyone had left. This means that she would have to remain in the water for many hours since she had arrived early in the morning.
