Chapter 15 by Nemo of Utopia Nemo of Utopia

What's That Routine Like?

String Shot, Tackle, Tackle...

This Caterpie is more experienced than Mister Moon, but it's not as well fed and definitely not as fierce! First Mister Moon pins it down with a quick application of String Shot, then slams it with a Tackle! It's looking pretty dazed but Mister Moon isn't done, the third note on the whistle signaled another Tackle, and after rolling back behind the hapless Catterpie he charges back in with another hit that leaves the Caterpie **** and easy prey for any passing Spearow: just as planned!

You see that's the whole idea! Spearow are carnivores, and they will be lured by the poor defenseless Caterpie, which will be when you strike! You will attack with the same routine you used on the Caterpie, but Spearow are tougher, and instead of knocking it out, you will capture it!

There's just one small hitch in the plan: Spearow are flock birds, and if you can't take on just one, things could get ugly... (You've read about Ash's Spearow encounter on his first day of training, and have a plan if things go pear-shaped, but you hope you can lure just one...)

Is Luck With You?
