The Yellow dragon pulled it's head back to its shoulders. I froze, hearing cracking that sounded like trees being uprooted.
POP POP POP POP
And then like a viper, the Dragon's skull shot out towards me.
I jumped to the side, hearing a pop as its massive jaws barely missed me.
"Only an inch from ****," screamed Bagman, "This is amazing!"
Its neck had stretched over thirty feet. It pulled its head back. And I took off as quickly as I could.
"Accio Potions," I said. And within seconds my potions fell into my hands. I tied the bag around my waist, giving my junk a little cover.
"Incarcerous," I screamed. Ropes conjured themselves around the drip Fang, but it's scales tore through them with a slight shake.
POP POP
I heard the cracking again of it pulling it neck back, as I was right beside the beast.
I reacted instinctively, sliding on the ground, feeling the rocks cutting into my skin as the massive head of the Drip Tooth passed over me.
"Again," screamed Bagman, "He's challenging the beast to a battle of pure speed."
I was on my feet again, ignoring the pain in my knee. I couldn't think. As its head passed near me I saw how its jaws we shattering the rocks it bit.
"Fuck," I screamed.
I saw the eggs of the dragon behind it, with the golden egg I needed to get.
RRRRRrrrgghhhhppppppppp
The beast cried desperately. It had enough time for one more strike. And I didn't have enough time to think of an alternate plan.
