Stiletto goes for a walk

Some girls would try to fortify a location for their Hunt, or try to get to a safe space. Stiletto refused to do this for two reasons. First, it was just a bad idea. Rigid thinking lead to being trapped more often than not, as many Hunted had learned to their dismay. Second, and more importantly, it was boring. Boring for her viewers and boring for her.

Stiletto left her apartment and headed towards a local park. There were good sight lines there and lots of escape routes. Her real reason for going there, though, were the people. Part of the allure of the Hunt was the idea that the viewer, no matter how unlikely, could actually be the one to take her down. She liked to subconsciously reinforce this idea by being in public locations on the days of her hunt.

As she walked she received a holo-call from her roommate, Morwen.

"You are insane. I just want you to know that" began Morwen.

"You said that before I started risking my ass for money" retorted Stiletto.

"I wasn't wrong. So far things are looking good on this end. You have enough viewers to attract some serious attention, but not enough that any of the real pros are on your tail. A few amateurs are making some buzz. One chubby guy has gone viral with a video about his plans to sodomize you." Morwen informed her.

"What a charmer." Stiletto wasn't overly worried about the boasts of amateurs.

"Oh, and at least one Hunt-and-Fuck bot has been dispatched. An older model, but I'd still watch your back. No word on who the 'donor' was."

Stiletto scowled. The bots weren't that hard to avoid if you knew what you were doing, but there was just something about them that creeped her out.
