Stick with competence and take Clara

Your relationship with Clara might be somewhat antagonistic, but you haven't survived this long by putting stock in petty rivalry. It's practicality that's gotten you this far, and it'll take you farther still. Clara is the sensible option due to her competence and strength of character.

"Okay everyone, gather 'round!" you call, standing atop a crate with your hands on your hips. Everybody quickly forms a semi-circle around you; Jake with his haunted eyes, Dorothy cradling her (for now asleep) child, nervous little Mika, a shirtless and smirking Ritter...and of course, Clara, that beautiful red hair bouncing with her walk. You feel a slight pang of irritation; how the hell does she always look so damn good? But maybe you're too hard on yourself. Ritter has certainly noticed you; there have been slaps to the ass and those have often resulted in slaps to the face.

"Food, medical supplies, ammo...we're low on everything. We need to make a supply run, but we can't abandon this place," you say. "That's why you guys are staying here and protecting it. Only two of us will make the run. I'm one of them."

"I'm up for it," smirks Ritter, staring blatantly at your breasts with a hungry look. "Of course, we might have to share a sleeping bag....but I'm prepared to make that sacrifice."

"Nice," you scoff. "But I'll be taking Clara."

The redhead steps up with a nod, showing no surprise at your decision. "I know my way around the mall. We'll be in and out with minimal mess."

You and Clara say your goodbyes; you share a too long hand-shake with Jake, and Ritter gives you a farewell ass pinch. He slaps Clara's ass, and it unnerves you to realize that you're jealous she got a slap and you got a pinch. But before you know it, you're on the road with Clara.
