“Are you here alone, Erik?” You ask him politely.

He smiles at you and holds out his arm. “Not anymore.”

You giggle and take his arm, feeling a little like you’re being whisked off your feet by his mere presence.

“Are you?”

You shake your head, but don’t answer verbally. He doesn’t need to know; after all, you are not yourself tonight; you are Isabella Fabienne, and Isabella is here with Erik. It is that simple.

“So, what’s your idea of a good night with a lady?” You ask as coyly as you can as you begin walking with him towards the quieter edges of the floor.

He grins and turns to face you as soon as you are secluded by space from the other people.

“A private, dark haven of only the finest things for a beautiful lady like yourself. Fine food and music, a dress as lovely as you are, and then whatever your heart desires from myself.”

You smile at the idea…but do you take him up on it?
