Stay in the street

Mary didn't know what this lady was planning. It might be better but it might be worse. She should stay in the street, try to sell her matches and get home.

"I'm sorry m'lady. I need to sell these matches. I can't leave the lady behind. She needs the money. The lady smiled "what if I paid the lady for you?"

Mary was shocked by this response. "w.. What could you possibly want from me, That you would pay someone for it?" she said in confusion. The lady went down to her level and said. "I want you near me. And I have the money to spend. Take me to the Lady from the oprhanage. I can give you a much better life. I promise."

This made Mary reconsider. Should she take her to the lady from the orphanage and let her pay, or should she turn her down a second time.
