Start something, tonight, at the party

You broke the silence with, "Let's try something tonight. Small or big, it needs to be noticed." Not quite sure what to do next, the statement more or less rang as a "we need to do a thing". Ben and Nate both agreed, shaking their heads and following you inside. At this point the party was beginning to kind of simmer down. Jimmy was still doing his little drinking ritual which the others seemed to lose interest in and the other guy that was doing the bar tricks was just kind of talking to the other guys about what he learned and how. Jeremy and Chelsea were both sitting in a corner listening to some music that someone must have turned on over the office speakers. (Huh, you didn't notice those.) It was a mix of 80s and 90s hits, stuff that you would normally enjoy in any other circumstance. You did however enjoy the sight of Chelsea. While she still looked the same, something about knowing you and your cohorts may or may not do something to her in the next hours gave you a feeling to couldn't be replicated. Looking at Jeremy was a different story. He waved at you with a grin and smile that about an hour earlier, would have felt genuine and friendly. But now felt like was just a part of an act he had put on for years. You begrudgingly waved back with all the muscle you could muster.

Nate and Ben were going around the party just mingling waiting for some sort of signal or opportunity to present itself.

You and the guys needed to think of something or else this would have to be postponed.
