Sprained ankle

Tiffany was on the ground holding her ankle with Diego kneeling down next to her, apologising over and over again.

“What the hell have you done Diego,” Mark yelled, storming his way over there.

“It’s okay Mark, it was just an accident,” Tiffany said as he kneeled down next to her on her other side.

“Are you hurt? What’s happened?” Mark asked.

“It’s my ankle, I think it might be sprained, I just need some help to get out of here,” she explained.

So the boys helped her up, one on each side of her. Tiffany’s arms were around their shoulders as they escorted her off. Even though she may have done some damage to her ankle, both guys were more focused on how this would affect their chances with her.

Back on the benches, Tiffany was able to get her skates off to inspect the injury. It looked a little red and swollen, the fear from everyone was if it was somehow broken at all.

“I think we need to take you to the hospital to get an x-ray,” Mark said, inspecting the ankle.

“Oh easy, I’ll take her, I’ve got my car here. I’ll drive you Tiffany,” he said to her, taking her by the arm again to help her up.

Fuck, he thought to himself. There wasn’t much he could do to argue against this. She needed to have her ankle looked at and he didn’t have any real way of getting her to the hospital.

“Well I’ll come along, I want to make sure you get there safety,” Mark added.

“Two seated car, no room,” Diego said as he helped her up. “Hey, this would be a great chance for you to check out the Statue of Liberty man, it’s beautiful, you can take the ferry out there, you’ll love it. You enjoy yourself, I’ll take care of Tiffany.”

“He’s right Mark, I’ll be fine, don’t let me ruin your trip here, I’ll text you when we’re of the hospital,” Tiffany added, not wanting to waste Mark’s days here.

This couldn’t have gone any worse, the last comment by Diego was such a sarcastic slap in the face. And Tiffany wasn’t noticing that, it bugged him so much.

But there was nothing he could do but wait, wait and hope that Diego doesn’t try any moves on her.
