Upon the ringing of the bell, Tifa got her hands up...only to lower them slightly as she saw just how nervous Claire looked as the redhead took a somewhat shaky combative stance. The raven-haired bartender softly smiled at her opponent before advancing onto her and raising her hand...to offer a handshake.

It'd take Claire a moment to realize what was going on as she brought her arms up in preparation for a strike only to feel...well, feel nothing; once her arms were down and eyes opened, then she'd see Tifa's offering. "H...H-Huh?"

"Feeling nervous?" Tifa asked, keeping her hand out, and the friendly smile on her face. "I understand considering what we're about to try and do to one another...and twenty-eight others; so, how about accepting my hand and we can ease into this, just until you can relax, huh?"

Hearing Tifa's offer, and taking a moment to take in her demeanor while mulling the offer in her head before returning the smile and reaching out with her hand to accept Tifa's. "I'd...really like tha-- ACK!?" ...a foolish move, and one of the oldest tricks in the book of wrestling, one Claire learned the hard way; hard, like the knee that she was pulled into, gut first.

"Sorry sweetie," whispered Tifa into Claire's ear, "but it is every woman for herself." Not allowing the Racoon City survivor a chance to respond, Tifa would quickly swing herself around to whip the redhead into a nearby corner and follow swiftly with another breathtaking knee to the midsection. Claire could only bend over while gasping for breath, leaving her vest easy pickings as Tifa would grab the bottom of it and pull it up and over Claire's head.
