As he made his way down the dark hallway the apartment was completely silent. He came to the closed bedroom door and slowly opened it. As soon as it was open wide enough for him to get through, a body lunged out of the shadows and knocked him to the ground. He head hit the floor as he landed and he opened his eyes to see his attacker.
